Description: Laurence G. O'Donnell has been a lifelong journalist holding such positions as reporter, bureau chief, assistant managing editor, and eventually managing editor of the Wall Street Journal in New York. In 1983 he was named associate editor of the Journal, responsible for recruitment. Eight years later he retired and became president of the Board for the Dow Jones News Fund.  Throughout his career, diversity was an important part of his work.
