Foodways Texas Oral History Collection

Foodways Texas is a non-profit organization hosted by the American Studies Department at The University of Texas at Austin. Founded by scholars, chefs, journalists, restaurateurs, farmers, ranchers, and other citizens of the state of Texas, Foodways Texas has made it their mission to preserve, promote and celebrate the diverse food cultures of Texas. 
 

The Foodways Texas Oral History Collection contains oral history interviews conducted from 2007 to 2014 as part of the following projects: Barbecue, Craft Brewers, Co-ops, Film, Iconic Restaurants, Louisianne en Tejas, Night Hawk, Oysters, and Shankleville. As the collection continues to grow, interviews will be added to the Foodways Texas Oral History Collection.
